Welcome to my Website. I hope the information you find here will be helpful to you, whatever your Ceremony. I truly love my role as a Civil Celebrant and will help however I can - do phone or email me.
Putting this site together has been a huge learning curve and it is an evolving work in progress. Any feedback is gratefully received, I always welcome the opportunity to learn and grow.

Respect and dignity are important in any Ceremony. You are creating special memories and it's important for you to feel comfortable with your Celebrant. Also important is a sense of fun and lightness for both you and your guests (yes you are allowed to enjoy your Ceremony) - at a few well timed moments when appropriate. There are as many options as there are people requesting these.

My working life with people in the Hospitality and Nursing professions has proven valuable in my life as a Civil Celebrant. A subsequent role in Public Relations and as an events co-ordinator provided much insight into the importance of details in helping to create special ceremonies.

A car accident forced "time out" for a few years with a paralysed neck. A testing time indeed, which ultimately provided a new level of appreciation for life. Having been forced to look for help outside the traditional medical areas, as my neck gradually healed I spent many years retraining in: counselling, hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and many forms of alternative healing. Finally full movement returned to my neck and it was time to move forward into a happier, more fulfilling space. After training for a year and a wait of 18 months I was appointed as a Civil Celebrant in 2004.

Since then, conferences, experience and being an assessor in celebrant training have brought me an awareness of attention to legal detail and a vast store (in my head) of options for ceremonies. Experience with weddings, commitment and naming ceremonies and funerals has taught many aspects of the importance of time flexibility with weather conditions. With the advantage of the internet on mobile phones I would much rather wait until a shower clears before starting the ceremony. Unplanned occurrences happen on important days and to that end you are my most important people on your special day.

My wonderful husband of 16 years and I live in Wodonga with our Beagle.

I care deeply for people and really want to help make your Special Day one to remember in a unique and positive way. It is so important to have those personal touches in your ceremony that you and your guests will long remember. Working with you either in person, by email or phone, I will "go the extra distance" to create a ceremony tailored specially for you.

I am also happy to travel to areas outside Albury Wodonga to perform your Ceremony.

You may like to get together for an obligation free chat to discuss your requirements.
